10 Essentials is a fast-paced card game based on backcountry hiking. As you play, you learn the ten essentials you need to survive in the wild, and the dangers each one protects against. On your turn, play danger cards (like Hypothermia) on your opponents, defend yourself with the matching essential (Fire negates Hypothermia), and bank Miles, Scenic, and Wildlife cards to score. The hiker who logs the most miles wins. 2-4 players · ages 6+ · about 30 minutes.
