Questions & Answers
Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about turning your idea into a manufactured game. Don't see your question? Just ask.
What's the smallest quantity I can order?
It depends on what you're making. Prototypes can be as few as 1 unit — and up to 100 — which is perfect for proof-of-concept and playtesting. Full production runs start at 500 units. Either way, we're a great fit for first-time creators who don't want to commit to thousands of copies.
How much does it cost?
It depends on your components, finishes, and quantity. Send us a request through our online Quote Tool with your details, and our team will get back to you with an exact quote — usually within one business day.
How long does production take?
Most production runs take about 4–8 weeks, depending on the project and how busy we are. We can manufacture in Chicago or China. Tell us your deadline and we'll be straight with you about what's possible.
What components can you make?
Custom cards, boxes and tuck boxes, game boards (blank or full-color printed), wooden pieces, dice, rulebooks, punchboard and tokens, inserts and trays — and we assemble, shrink-wrap, and can store and drop-ship finished games for you.
Do you work with Kickstarter creators?
Absolutely. Crowdfunding is one of our specialties. We understand campaign timelines and can help you set accurate pledge and shipping costs before you launch — see our Kickstarter page for details.
What artwork or files do you need?
Print-ready files are ideal. They should be CMYK, hi-res PDF files with trim marks and bleeds. Vector format and outline fonts are best. If you're not there yet, that's okay — our staff of designers can help you format your concepts or graphics to meet these criteria. Send some test files and we can advise on quality and resolution for print production.
How do I pay?
At checkout you choose your payment method and we send instructions — currently PayPal or check/wire transfer. No payment is taken automatically on the site; we confirm your order and shipping first.
How do I get started?
Send us your project details through the Quote Tool and our team will follow up with an exact quote — usually within one business day. Prefer to talk it through first? Reach out on the Contact page. A real person will help you from idea to finished game.
